If I disconnect the red wire it doesn't crank at all. I'm not sure what red wire would allow it to crank without it being connected. The wire is the only red one jn the electrical box and it's in series via a fuse.

Reeds look good. Just a small piece of gasket stuck in one and it came right off.

Just curious if the fuel is suspect , I had a ski doing similar things. When I pulled fuel from the tank and examined it it had a small amount of water in it causing all kind s of havoc . Made it untunable. Just grasping at straws here.

Not just water in the gas bad gas period, I have had a few skis last year give me a run for my money, bad gas on both of them.

It's new gas less than a month old . Before the magneto shorting out the ski was perfect. I'll drain it regardless and put new gas. Thank you

The fuel inlet was clogged on the second carb. I could barely get air to go through it as a blew with my mouth. I tried carbs cleaner and 100 psi and it didn't clear so I drilled out the brass plug and cleared it out with a drill bit . Is this inlet on carb 2 supposed to be restricted or is it free flowing?
