I replaced the starter solenoid its much happier. Ive got 150 psi on one hole and 125 on the other. Im going to just run it and let the rings seat before I get too excited about it. Back to the cosmetics.

So my engine bay has the square nose sag. Found the perfect use for the leftover resin and put it in there to level the area before I put the hood seal on. Prepped for paint and plan on painting the bottom tonight.

Would this mid shaft work on a 701 superjet hull? I pulled it from the vxr pro and its labeled 61x. Same exact shaft length.

Nice work. The SN's are a great value and fun to ride!

Like I said before the midshaft is the same, not sure on the seals. By the looks of ur stock
midshaft you have no choice. Looks as the ski was sitting with the bay full of water. I would also
fix the 25psi difference in ur cylinder.

If you want a stock midshaft I have a new one for a $100 spot.

Paint is done. Foot holds are done. Started turf last night. Never turfed a ski with foot holds before. It is not easy.

Finished turf today. Starting to see the finish line. Once I get a couple more bucks I'm going to buy a set of 2016 superjet graphics for it.

Finally rode it today. I'm running somewhere between 23:1-25;1. It's just too much dang oil my plugs hate me lol. I'm going to add some plain gas and get a few sets of news plugs and try tuning again later. Thankfully my rings seated and the compression issue is figured out. I'm at 155 in one and 153 in the other. Getting closer.

So getting down to the final cost of the ski. Right now I still want to buy a graphics kit from a 2016 round nose. Hurricane industries has them for about 200, but I applied for a sponsorship through them, so hoping I get accepted and the cost drops. but ill break it down for now.
                            Ski- 100$
VXR pro (for 701 engine)- 180$
Turf, pad, hood seal, glue- 110$
                            Pistons and rings- 35$
                            Paint for engine- 10$
                            foot holds- 40$
                            Carbon Fiber/ fiberglass/ resin- 65$
Fuel lines, water lines, hose clamps- 20$
misc tape, sand paper, brushes- 20$
                            many, many beers ????
So you could say im at roughly 600 and will be roughly at 800 after the graphics, when its all said and done. I'm pretty happy with that. I know I couldn't have bought it for that, and I know exactly how its built since I did it myself.

You guys think I should ditch the temp sensor?
