    Re: Kawasaki ZXI 750 issue 1997

    If it ran before you rebuilt the carb, and not after, you mush have done something incorrectly. Take it off, and double check everything.

    Your 750 should have a Kehin CDK-II carb. What kit did you use? (Brand)

    Where you careful to install the gaskets/check valves in correct order? I see people put them in, incorrectly quite often.

    I used this one from jet ski parts.com
    https://jetskiparts.com/products/kaw...keihin-jet-ski
    i bought two of them but didn't use all the peices that came with it because there wasn't places for it or at least I couldn't find a place for them after taking the whole thing apart

    Just took it all apart and it's has gas in all the chambers I just don't think it's getting to the crank case but I don't know what part that would be on the carb

    Did you match up the needle arm spring to your original when you rebuilt? If you put the wrong spring in, the pop off may be too high.

    The kits you purchased are an aftermarket kit. I personally have never had any luck with any of the aftermarket Kehin kits.

    We stock and sell Genuine Kehin brand kits here;

    https://www.watcon.com/fuel-system/c...kehin-carb-kit

    Pop off controls the "time" in which your needle and seat open, or if at all.

    Re: Kawasaki ZXI 750 issue 1997

    Took the carb apart again and I saved all the old stuff and put it back in with the good gas after I drained the tank gas smelled bad not like gas at all the gas separated into two sections in the jug and when I put the old carb stuff back in it ran better than ever with the good gas so I guess it's a junk rebuild kit will be looking into the one you suggested thank you so much!
