    I was not serious. Obviously, swapping parts is not the correct way to fix anything.

    Alright so I disconnected the yellow wire and red wire from the rectifier and it kept blowing the fuse. It was a bad MPEM the guy had an abandoned 92 xp and I "borrowed" the Mpem and it worked . Still needs a carb job but it runs! Thanks for the help. IMAG0154.jpgIMAG0158.jpg

    Yeah I measured things up with an ohm meter and nothing in the ski was shorted

    When the 5 amp blows that shows there is a short in the MPEM.
