    Weld cadt aluminum?

    Found why i suspect the venture is running rough.....shes breathing her own fumes......i think the exhaust is14923663436551075464650.jpg14923663436551075464650.jpg cast aluminum....right? Weldable or cheaper to just replace?

    Given the price of used parts right now I would just replace it, with all the oil and gas that has gone through that pipe it will be a b!tch to weld.

    hated on by most these &^$$@s with no cheese, no deals and no G's, no wheels and no keys, no boats, no snowmobiles, and no skis, mad at me cause I can finally afford to provide my family with groceries

    +1 on the j- b weld. Clean it good with a wire brush and and carb cleaner or MEK. MEK preferred. Patched a 5 inch crack in a Kubota diesel block with JB a few years back. Still holding strong.

    JB weld will give up the ghost after a while, I have done several quick and dirty repairs on Seadoos with blown out welch plugs on the head pipes, JB works for a year or so but eventually it always lets go, I can almost assure you when it lets go it will be at the most inconvenient time possible.
