Just upgraded to a newer ski

New to Yamaha so would love to hear everyone's review/input on this ski. My ski I upgraded from and is currently for sale is a 96 Kawasaki 750STS. This 05 has only 100 hours on it.

Re: Just upgraded to a newer ski

I've had that exact ski for about 5 years now. We call it our 'SUV' because it's a real family friendly cruiser. Not a speed demon, we usually see low to mid 50's (though that is plenty fast for many) but ours has been a bullet-proof work horse season after season. It rides 3 or pulls a tube with little effort and is extremely stable. I've found it to be a great, reliable all around recreational ski...a great sister ski to our RXP. If you're looking to set speed records or get a lot of airtime, you'll be disappointed. If you're looking for reliability, stability and all around fun on the water, it's a great choice. Every spring I get a phone call from the previous owner asking if I would consider selling it back to him...if that tells you anything.

Great ski, nearly bulletproof with regular maintenance. Squeeze a bit more out of it doing the TB ribbon removal and high flow air filter.
