    I restore the handlebar covers as a small side business, pocket money that goes back into my skis.
    That's the reason I don't give out the how to.
    It takes me about 2 hours to restore a cover, I charge 75.00 plus shipping

    It never was a secret, Dave just never had the time to follow up daily on guys who wanted it done. I was nothing more than the guy who got them to Dave. No cash ever entered my pockets for his work. Nice to be a few minutes from Dave.


    For the guys here on PWCT, his work on the bar pad is the only way to fly. Here is my 95 with one of his pad restos on it. And before you bust my chops Suke, yes I will finish my 95.

    Mike Stowe is the Man, I forget the name of his business. He will custom make anything, The only draw back is lead time.
