    Re: x2 750 wan't more low end

There are two types of timing plates, one is fixed with holes while the other is adjustable as it is slotted. If you just want more low end power, remove the advance timing plate, you'll loose top end though. If you have the slotted type you can play around with it to find the balance you like. My boat is all bottom end, and my next mod will be a slotted timing plate.

Someone posted to me that the small pin CDI can be swapped out and replaced with the big pin CDI, which has a better advance curve and higher rev limit. If you go this route you definitely remove the advance plate. I am skeptical as Kawasaki went from small pins to big pins for a reason, and I'm afraid that the stock piston wouldn't hold up. A forged piston would most likely be OK.

The other big difference between my boat and yours is the 2" exhaust system.

    Re: x2 750 wan't more low end

have bought a enchanger and a lightened flywheel.. they r now on a 750 BP engine that is seized. gonna put the stuff on my SP engine.

and there where 2 impellers in the package, a skat 12/17 and a super chamber don,t know the pitch of that one.
would that 12/17 do it a little better than the sxr impeller?

the guy gived me a mrd head that needs love... gonna put photo,s later on. how to see what cc the domes are?

Neither of those impellers will be good if you are after low end. Im running a 12/18 now and love it, but thats all around performance. If I were after low end, I would want something like a big hub 10/16.
