a 13/18 sxr impeller is to big?

9/15 is hard to find here.

i allready have some impellers laying around
like a 15 does this come close to a 9/15?

is there a list to check impeller pitches ?

If you don't have the 750 yet many of them came with factory dual Keihins. If the motor you get has theses carbs don't change them out, use them. The build thread in my signature shows how I modded the right hull brace to use the dual Keihins and K&N filters. I messed around with the jetting but ended up back with the factory setting. The thread also shows how to easily add knobs to the carb needles and do a full 2" exhaust system with the Blaster pipe.

If you are experienced with a Dremel tool you can port-match the block. Basically you gently grind away at the aluminum that does not line up with the port windows of the cylinder sleeves. You do NOT change the windows themselves. If the engine has a lot of hours on it send the block to a machine shop for honing and put new rings on the pistons.

Personally, I prefer a 1/2 cooling mod to dual cooling. The reason for this is that the fitting boss on the pump is large enough to accommodate a larger 1/2 fitting. If you opt for a second fitting you will be drilling and tapping it in very thin metal. Guys do it all the time, but the 1/2 inch fitting is the better way to do it. If you don't want to mod the through hull line you could put a T fitting back in the pump cavity and use the 1/2" fitting to feed the two smaller existing lines.

already have it all in my x2,
    dual cooling is allready in.
    SP and 46mm single
i have the old type FP head 42mm
and using the SJ LTD pipe.
porting i will do on my next rebuild.

most important question what impeller is a sxr impeller good to start with?
and i have a westcoast head with 27cc domes laying around... could this be a save install to get around 180psi?

(the gray 750SP came with single 38. )

The SXR impeller is a 13/18 and they are a bit heavy.

A hooker 9/15 would be great or a Skat trak 9/17 C75- Swirl.

you can buy an aftermarket head that will raise compression....raised compression will give you good bottom end punch as well as mid range......if you mill a stock head, you will need to watch your squish depending on how much you mill but if you get near 180 with all your mods and don't run good fuel 93oct or better then you might deto to death. since your advancing the timing as well as a pipe already.

if you mill, take a piece of solder, stick it in the spark plug hole at an angle to hit the cylinder, spin the engine over to squish the solder and measure it and see if its within spec, if not then having that angle milled inside the head could cost as much as a good used aftermarket head but i know finding a good aftermarket 750 head is not easy.
