    F12X combo meter fix

So my dead ski ended up the combo meter was dead.
you can power up meter separately off the ski.

i bought 5 crappy meters from eBay for $80
3 Yamaha, 1 kawasaki and the honda meter.

the eBay Honda meter powered up but had a really dull display.
i have pulled apart both my honda meters and changed the LCD display from my dead original to the cheapo. It works a treat. Like the ECUs these are quite expensive, and the displays will fade over time.

my original meter had corrosion on the PCB.

one of the Yamaha meters I put in my 15foot outboard boat for rpm and clock
    and maybe for looks

I have a combo meter that I believe is not allowing my ski to do anything. I've got a good battery, good relay, good start stop switch, but nothing to the dash screen. Is there an easy check to see what might be happening with my dash? To see if it's my issue and how to fix?
