gp 760 box with 10 1/2 holes drilled in plate, then welded up 5 holes on my other b1 1100 and it made no diff. and rear exit, not in pump area.

Putting a downturn on the outlet of the hull helps. It's still throaty, but it's better than straight. (Think of how a stock sxr outlet looks)

The other thing you can do is to add a water line to the outlet. Honestly, I don't notice much with this. I'm surprised no one has done two boxes like the yamaha 1100s, just don't know how this would effect performance.

Also noting the ZXI inlet perforated tube has helped quite a bit. not bad to get out, and should fit in the 760 box. It's basically a resonator, designed by kawi for the 1100 motor...

Yes, alterego x4 build had a pretty good description on how to do it. Basically drill out all the spot welds on the zxi box, cut around the inlet side weld (outer diameter), and cut it lengthwise (just the shell) twice in two locations 180 degrees apart. the baffle assy witt then fall out once you split the clamshell you have just made. Then knock off the baffles that are spot welded to the resonator assy. Trim the OD of the inlet cap of the zxi box to match the OD of the raider box. should fit even with the raider baffle in tact. take pics along the way to show everyone.
