    New Yamaha model EX1050

1027161047.jpgNew ski to compete with plastic Sea Doo Spark. It has a three cylinder engine and a normal hull. Quality but limited storage space. 3 models offered. One with Ride reverse system, One with cable and handle reverse, and one with no reverse. This one has the Ride system and costs around $8500.

I went and looked at it. I like it. Base model the guy said 6500.

I'd like just the manual reverse. It has a 144. Pump in it, not the 155. I'd also like to see how stable it is compared to the vx1100. The pump I believe is a one piece. Might be plastic too.

I believe ProWatercraft Racing has already or is in the progress putting this motor in a stand up.

The Spark wouldnt have been such a POS if it was made with a fiberglass bottom IMO

Plastic hull ....what were they thinking.

to me BRP thought it would be the future of jetskis by using recycled plastics, why not if it was sturdy built with repairable material. it is not the case now but they still sell like crazy, we see em all over the waterways here.

Can you post more pictures of this? Online pictures are limited, doesn't seem like too many people have these yet. Looking into buying the base model of the ex or a spark 3 up ho in the spring. Waiting to see how this thing keeps up with the Sparks being heavier

    Sparks are garbage.

Plastic hull....what were they thinking. I guess it's better to try & fail than to never try at all.
