Aquatrax winterizing issues
I just got honda aquatrax F 12 and got some questions
1. it has a sticker on the front TURBO , but is it really ? or is it just a sticker
2. I took a 5 gallon bucket with a 3/4 inch clear vinyl hose , attached it to the flush pipe right by the back outside by the impeller , after putting it in reverse on the left side when looking at it standing behind the ski , but no water got in ( I filled up the whole 5 gallon bucket ) which was sitting on back seat .
I started the ski first then started to put water in the bucket ,
there was a little bit of water comming from the pisser at first , then only steam , no water
the ski starting beeping , the temp warning showed up and the ski turned itself off
this is my first time trying to winterize this ski
need help , please
is this wrong way , or is there another right way to do it ?

See my post on page 3 of the sticky winterizing tips thread at the top of the Honda page...much easier than messing with a bucket or funnel.

Re: Aquatrax winterizing issues
And if you use a funnel or a bucket, you have to hold it like 6 feet above the back deck...like it shows in the owner's manual. Go with the fitting for the antifreeze jug listed on that other thread.

Re: Aquatrax winterizing issues
so my 2007 aquatrax ARN and ART1200's fell off the lift in a storm and floated around in the water for about 10 hours. They were winterized before hand and thinking they don't need to be re-winterized (i.e., RV antifreeze run through the system) again since the engine did not run while they were floating/now pulled back on the lift out of the water.....can anyone confirm or deny this? thanks much!

If they have still not been cranked or started then they are just fine.
