Cant ever delete anything on the internet, but if he made it right leave it up. Shows that resolution was made although somewhat of a painful path to take.

Oh, most forums allow deletion of threads by the original author...just realized this one doesn't!

Even if you could delete it I'd leave it up. It shows the issue but also shows resolution to the issue. Let future buyers make their own decisions based on the experience.

Apparently you guys feel empowered by bashing and name calling.

To locate and bring up a post from 2008 on another website is amazing. The buyer of the impeller did not realize that Yamaha uses an opposite thread pattern from other models. It's an innocent mistake but you guy's think he should get a refund? If it doesn't fit stop and figure it out. Re jetting, any new setup by someone with less than 25,000 posts has to be dialed in. I would prefer rich verses lean but apparently anything less than the optimum setup is not acceptable. My advice is to have your ski setup prior to event day. That will eliminate stress and allow you to have a good time ridding verses wrenching.

I agree with Johnny on this....I don't think anyone is super concerned with 2008, but the here and now is definitely an issue. It is cool that things were made right, however, it took some time and effort. Coupled with the fact that someone actually sent along a plain carbon bolt with the obvious wrong thread pitch shows complete lack of give a damn and that was no "easy mistake". It was a cheap effort to make a $ and it should be noted here so others can make an informed buying decision.

Re: Buyer Beware Jimmy Hoffa (Patric Miller)

I bought a couple of things from Jimmy Hoffa, he discussed them with me over the phone, any issues with the parts were fully disclosed and the parts I received were exactly as described, this transaction took place earlier this year and that's all I have to say about that.

Re: Buyer Beware Jimmy Hoffa (Patric Miller)

I'm very sorry to toddc that a carbon bolt was sent and washers were not included.

Patrick did give a full refund on a Sea Doo hood several months ago on pwctoday. However, I will no longer list parts that I do not personally own.
