Mossdale October 29th and 30th race rosters ~

Start em up.... 20 second board goes up.... 20 seconds later the board goes down..... 3 seconds later the Horn Blaster Train Horns go off..... and, uh, well, jeez, it looks as though things might be a bit sluggish getting off the line ~

We'll see how this goes through next Tuesday but if you're in - I need to know as soon as possibe. Don't need pre-payment, just need to know if you're coming out. Mossdale is an expensive race to run and if the numbers aren't there to support it, then we'll all end up doing something else that weekend...

The info requested is in a previous post... but in case you missed it, name, class, ski info, and race #. email to djsaracing@yahoo.com

    Outlaw Nation,
Racing on demand.... If you want it you'll get it, but it has to sustain itself financially. This is the current list of pre-registered racers and we're nowhere close to being self-sustaining... Spread the word, I have until Tuesday on whether we pull the plug or not...

    Here's some racing reality ~

    Mossdale is a pricey site.
    2500 site fees
    1575 insurance
500 safety ski and tow vehicle fuel
    1500+ staff
    1000 FD standby
    400 sanitation
    250 trash pick up
    300 trophies
    roughly thats $8025

There's 24 names on the above rosters and 5 of those are juniors... If those 24 paid 100 a day to race that would be $4800 towards cost. That's leaving a hole of about $3225 to fill.

If every class had 5 racers showing up that would be around 75 entries which 1) covers all expenses, 2) allows reduction in entry fees, and 3) puts money back into the organization to make things better all the way around.

Love you guys and your families to no end, but I simply cannot afford to carry the deficit. This always has and always will be "your racing". I have put off my advertised "race retirement" temporarily to make sure norcal has adequate local races and IJSBA qualifiers the next couple years so our peeps don't have a hardship in traveling long distances to race but I need a little help and it comes down to 3 simple words... "racing on demand". If the demand is there we'll make it happen and if not?? well, let's give this until Tuesday and we'll see how it looks.
