Just thinking because this set up is just like mine (I'm running 44s tho). What about the get in the return fuel like you had me do Matt? Does that have anything to do with rpms....i know sounds dumb lol

I saw some people also used accel coil on plug wires in conjunction with the msd enhancer setup.
So I finnaly got some time to finish the wiring on the water injection and to answer your question NO you cannot use the grey wire from the enhancer to drive the water injection. I just cooked my water injection. The trigger light came on for a while but I noticed it was solid and not blinking and as soon as i reved the engine.... that was it. Its dead. I tried driving it with the white wire wraped around a spark plug wire but its still dead.....
Anyone have a MSD water injection controler for sale????

This is what the MSD water controller instructions say....

GRAY Connect to the Gray wire (tach output) on any MSD Watercraft Ignition. White wire will not be used when Gray wire is used.

I was not using the white wire, just the grey wire from the MSD enhancer.... I'm guessing since the light was not pulsing the enhancer output is a variable voltage and once the output voltage/rpm got high enough, poof.

I disconnected the power, hoping for a miracle, I will try it agian this weekend with the white wire.

    Re: 96 XP Rec Build

Got a new controller and got the ski on the water this past weekend and it runs like a raped ape! Leave the line hard and pulls hard all the way. The water was too rough to get a good RPM read but its somthing more than 7100.
Its finnaly running the way I had hoped it would. Reminds me of a miniture version of my old race GPR.
Great power, hookup, handeling and jumping.
Only problem now is my VTS stopped working. Now I just hear a click from the VTS motor every time I push the up/down buttons. Any ideas?

Pull the leads off the VTS motor and hook it directly to a battery. If it doesn't turn its the motor. If it does it's the VTS unit. You can either do a VTS fix or get a new one (which I'd personally do as they aren't that expensive).
