It takes a lot to make a twin do 60 mph... 10.00/ gallon fuel and the rest of the fun stuff. So in practice, you are suggesting we create a triple cylinder aftermarket hull class. we already have that its called amateur open. we are trying to find the middle ground here, something between lites and open. I think 55 is a better route. a ported twin with a wet pipe can still go wave jumping one weekend and racing the next. aftermarket hulls just make the cost go up and hurt the people that don't want a specialized one trick pony race bike
