Our charging systems on the skis have a amperage rating to aggressive for the lith battery. Watched my friends burn through WPS, Battery tender, and shorais like its going out of style. Ive had many discussions with my battery rep from my shop and bottom line its not worth it for non total loss. If your running a stand up the deka etx9 weighs in at 6 lbs and has plenty of CA to start even high comp motors. Just strap it down with a piece of a pool noodle between the straps and the battery on top and your set.
my battery render lithium battery just died, only 8v after 3 months, I ride salt and I read that to fully kill a lithium battery you should submerge in salt water.

It appears that my failing starter is what killed my lithium battery.
