Thanks for the heads up. I'm actually planning to be in Parker that weekend, since it's between Memorial and the Parker River float. I'll keep the poker run in mind. Any excuse to ride!

Hey guys, Anybody willing to give me a hand with my 550. I cannot seem to figure out why it won't start. It has spark, compression and fuel and i am stumped. I live in San Clemente but can bring it wherever and I'm willing to pay somebody to get this thing going. Things I have done so far, stator rebuilt by JSS, replaced ebox, replaced flywheel, compression 150/152, it has spark and a primer so I know fuel is there. PLEASE HELP!!

Fuel is running through the lines when you go to start? My buddies 550 had a similar issue and his pulse line was not hooked up properly. Also had a carb rebuild kit done and that seemed to fix it.

I'll check it out, but with the primer it's getting fuel for sure. I'll double check the pulse line tho.

Check out "Kawasaki 550 jetski" group on facebook. Post your problem on that page maybe with a video or picture and some of the best 550 mechanics throughout North America will chime in and help you.

Also shoot me a private message on here so we can hookup, my buddy has a personal shop in SC and may be willing to help.

Oc area here too.decided to stick to local riding today and headed to long beach launched at granada st beach launch.First time there and not bad to dolly across the sand.

Downside was the wind was breezy so the water was pretty rough but gonna go back soon.

    Reviving an old thread.

I took my ski out to Fiesta last weekend as the season opening. Great day, with a few other folks out there as well. I'm glad winter is over.

What are thoughts on Elsinore this year after all the rain? Will it be decent, or still a swamp? Anyone been out there recently to see it?

You guys that ride Granada: how is it getting your ski out of the water by yourself? I checked it out last summer just walking around and getting the ski in looks painless, but the slope is fairly steep so without another person helping it looks like getting it out could be tough. There was nobody else there the two times I went. I guess you could crab the slope rather than going directly up.
