    JAM Sponsons

Question for anyone who uses JAM Sponsons - do they screw right in or do you have to modify (sand or grind down) part of the sponson to get them to fit right?

Would like to hear any thoughts on installation and how to get the most out of them.

As you can see in this picture, the inside of the bond rail isn't straight, so some sponsons have to be modified to fit right.

Remove 4 acorn nuts/bolts. Screw in 2 from the top and 2 from the sides.

Got the sponsons and want to make sure I'm installing correctly. Which one is correct?

    Re: JAM Sponsons

And do I put the sponsons flush with the back of the hull or move them as far back as possible? (Which would put them about a 1/2 inch or so past the back of the hull.
