    Quick question - 650sx

Harry...I know from reading your website, it sounds like you guys are big proponents of the 42 Keihin carb...I have a 650sx with a sudco 42, factory pipe, jetinetics flywheel, not sure if the motor has been ported or not..I read in another post that the jets should be 82 and 155...any advice on where to set pop off at and screws? Also I will mention that I believe the seat has been bored out to a 2.0...most likely by you guys...thanks in advance.

I am sure Harry will correct me if I am wrong. But I would start at 18-20 psi pop off, and 1.5 turn on the bottom, and 1 turn out on top. If pop off is too high, it will run out of fuel at idle, but the factory pipe pulls harder (stronger signal), so I usually run higher pop off. It gives you a snappier hit off the bottom.

Thanks Kawi...I got some good info from Jdpilot on this site, and he runs 30psi in all his boats with all bolt ons. I'm currently at about 23 psi, and it feels very close to perfect, but a slight bog off idle. It idles in the water, but rough, and after playing with the low speed screw a bit, I couldn't get it to clean up. So just kinda wondering if i should go lower or higher on the pop off.

Yeah I got this all dialed in now...got a factory pipe on there, and with this carb and the flywheel, this thing rips pretty good!
