    Please help! Superjet won't start

So I have a 1990 superjet. It hasn't run in seven years, so this winter I decided to rebuild it, they way it should have been. So countless mods, a refoam, and some new parts later I put everything back together. Cleaned the carb (waiting on a rebuild kit). And she fired right up, very awake. So I killed it (stop switch works). Decided I wanted to see it float after the refoam so I drove it over to the boat ramp that's less than two miles from my house. Drove down the very bumpy road, backed her up and pulled the ski off the trailer, hit the start, and it cranks hard but won't start. Brought the ski home and I have great spark in both, 145-150 psi in each cylinder, and if I leave a plug loose I see gas bubble. I'm stumped and very frustrated. And I've tried unplugging start stop and it has a new stator and cdi. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Your fuel inline and return line correct? The top nipple is the return line.

Supply and return lines are correct. I can remove the return line from the carb and blow into it and it holds pressure and fuel come out of the return nipple. Also when attempting to start without the air filter on I can see fuel from the carb. Also the pulse line is working. And I forgot to say I pulled the engine yesterday to check the stator timing and it is perfect. So stumped. Something to do with the water box or muffler from attempting to start in the water?

Perhaps the engine has an Air Leak.

Perform an Air leak-down test on the engine: 8 psi for 10 minutes.

If the Crankcase isn't air tight, the pulse signal will be very weak and fuel delivery will suffer. If it runs on prime and then dies, crankcase is leaking air (loss of primary compression).

Also, if you added flame arrestors and an aftermarket pipe, the pop-off pressure might be too high. This will also starve the engine for fuel causing it not to run.

Also verify cylinder compression; needs to be within 5 psi of each other.
