    Re: The 750ss build.

    Thanks!

On the old 93ss with the 650:
    180psi head (groupk)
    Port timing was changed (groupk)
    Mild overbore with wiseco pistons
    Sbn44 on ported 650 manifold
    Coffman rocket pipe/waterbox
    Groupks cooling mod
    13/18 Solas
    PET tach
    Jet dynamics scoop grate
    Tau ceti flame arrestor
    R&d ride plate
    Rad lightweight charging flywheel
    And i think thats its...

Stock 650 with a 34mm carb and the 13/18 did 40mph on gps. Same as a stock 750ss. Somehow (going off stock numbers from groupk). Maybe the stock 750 exhaust had something to do with it?

After the groupk work with a bored 34mm carb, it did 46mph on gps. At 6600rpm. The sbn44 added 1mph and 100rpm (on gps). Seemed to burn almost twice as much fuel also...

I dont think ill ever understand how it was able to go 47, and match the dual carb 750ssxi but not have the power to spin the same 5 blade impeller.. the 650 was also a lot more snappy than the stock ssxi.

Still trying to get photobucket to work. On my phone now.

What it all started from. The 93 650 powered 750ss

Oh it did have interlux teflon paint on the bottom too. They claim 2-3mph gain. I didnt see any gain at all lol. Also added trim

Some video. Nothing too interesting tho

And the 96 750ss. Not too bad of shape. Typical bubbling paint in some spots. Few nicks and dings

    Re: The 750ss build.

Here's a pic of my 95 750ss I built and painted. I take that back. I crashed it and found a 98 xi hull and swapped everything over and then painted it and added graphics and mats.

Hey Mike that would look better with the foam and cover on the handle bars. You can always dye the original black. I have a extra if you need one.

That ski is long gone Mike. At the time there was this aftermarket cover that went over the cowl you could buy and UMI made a steering system for it but it was to much $$ for me back then, lol to much money! I just spent 368 bucks for the Rhaas kit like nothing

Nice! That looks good. Dont see too many with custom paint. Im also a fan of the motox bar look, on top of a better feel when riding
