Yeah, mine placed the carbs so the shafts are parallel, not inline. All I should have to do is take the carbs and link them with probably a rc tie rod. As long as the pivot point is the same distance from the center of the shaft it will pull the same amount.

I've been looking for a couple years, posting all over the place. Now both of you bought one recently. Dam....sucks for me lol. It's like the only thing I need to finish a complete westcoast motor that's taken me several years to find and complete. Every part I have is brand new and waiting. Lucky *******s lol. O well, I'm going to keep on looking.

I search craigslist often. I found a few skis that someone owned, and on of the pics showed an engine with a reed cylinder on PP cases, naturally I did some searching, and saw the castings were different, so I knew it was an RC520. Emailed him, didn't tell him it's was worth much, and that I just needed and engine. Got it for a deal, because he had no idea what it was.

So worth it, and it doesn't even run yet!

I have an westcoast rc520 cylinder and dual round body mikuni carbs for sale/trade plus cash. Pistons are .50 over stock and carbs have been sitting a while so could possibly use a rebuild. Looking to sell all as a set for $450.

Or willing to do a partial trade for stock 550 cylinder, intake and carb plus $150 cash.

If interested let me know and I can send pictures. Also willing to ship too
