Of course not,Work the choke a bit during this and see if it improves. If so , its lean from probably carbs dirty jets. Check the spark plugs for a chocolate brown and wet oily threads.

Nice find man. This makes me sad personally as I just lost mine two weeks ago on a jacked up trade. I miss mine already. These are beautiful boats and you will enjoy them more than any ski built in the last 15+ years. I personally convert every ski I own to premix but know alot of people that dont. Personal opinion if you trust the pump or not. No clue about Polaris, been a Shark fan boy since day one have never ridden anything else. Mine had a slight bog right about where yours takes off. A very slight mid range bog was typical of these skis. Should not have a low end bog though. Clean the carbs and replace all your fuel filters. If it persists rebuild your fuel pump.

Man honestly, i would love to feel the true performance of this ski. I converted it over to premix last year, installed all new tygon fuel lines. I havent opened the carbs, or fuel yet so im sure they Will need some attention. I have secon set of carbs im gona throw on and see if there is a difference. Plan to rebiuld one of the sets. Where can i find genuine mikuni rebiuld kits for the carbs, and fuel pump?

Allright pulled the carbs this morning to get an idea. Noticed when it runs on the center carb fuel keeps running out of the jets.. again no balls till 3500 and up. Pulled the diaphragm cover on the pto carb and found some debris, and rust. Think ot would be better to just find a good set of carbs.

OK, so there was some water intrusion. I think you'd be better off going through your own carbs first. I can see you paying some severe cash for a set of trips. You'd likely have to rebuild whatever you bought anyway. Remember, you're buying 19 year old equipment.

With the unknown age of the parts, do yourself a favor and go 100%. You'll hate yourself if you have to do it twice.

    Update!

Finnaly got around to redoing the carbs.. center, and mag carb was completely rusted up. Diaphragms were torn ect. Took it out Friday mornin. Was amazed how well it runs, no midrange stumble! Tach just pulls hard and fast to 7100rpms! Cruising aroud at 3k rpms if you lay into it, the handle burs just pulls out of your hands!

    This thing is a beast!
