    CA to AZ

Finally taking the plunge and planning my move from CA to Surprise, in the fall. I hate moving with passion. Where does everyone ride? Iíll be close to Lake Pleasant, which looks like a decent place to ride. I was there last October and the water level was pretty low. Does it fill up with the winter rains? I was raised in the outdoors, so itís time to exit the high tech industry get back out there. Iím also planning to purchase a quad and do some riding. I also like to mountain and road bike. So if anyone has any good riding spots, or know of any local riding groups/clubs for any of these activities, please let me know. I want to hit the ground running. ThanksÖ

Bummer! I finally see someone else that lives in Milpitas. Usually I ride with my son but lately hanging with the gf on the weekends takes priority so I've been riding solo. Good luck in Az.

Saguaro, Apache and Roosevelt lakes along the salt river are awesome riding. we used used to jump the cliffs in Saguaro lake too. Also... take your bi-annual trips to Lake Havasu, watch the IJSBA nationals! and go camping near Parker dam, ride Body beach, Copper canyon and up through the gorge to Laughlin along the Colorado river and walk in the Casinos wet! fun times!

Thanks for the replies and the facebook link. I'm use to traveling at least a hour away now, so that's not a big deal. Been going to the WF's for 16 years. Looking forward to the shorter drive time to LHC (from 10 hrs. to 3.5).

Pleasant and bartlett are where its at. I don't bother with canyon or roosevelt. Saguaro is nice cause its only about 20min from me. Bartlett has a beach you can back your truck onto and launch/load from there.

Off topic. Where can you get the best deal on decent "new" single trailer? No Shorelanders. Thanks

Hey GlenT, I'm a little late with a reply to your question on this thread, but if you have a pick-up truck and want to bypass the trailer all together, check out the ramps that I build. I hand-make everyone and cut them out on a CNC milling machine. All parts a pieces are made in USA also. Send me an email if you are interested. jetbum@outlook.com I would be happy to meet you at a local AZ lake, go for a ride and give you a demo also. With some manufacturing changes, I will be reducing the price soon too.
