Very nice, Scottie. That's faster than a pump gas 951 doo motor, right?

    X4 - 1100 Build

Started life as a 96 787, inner liner completely removed and stringers glassed in. Hull weighed 178 lbs bare after gutting. Lost over 60 lbs by doing that. But i will NEVER do it again. What a giant pain in the ****. I don't know where a 951 done right would be, scottie can chime in on that. I would think it might have longer legs up top but they don't have that 1100 hit off the bottom.

All that said, the rad dudes plate is the ticket if your looking for a bolt in installation. I suck at taking build pics but heres one of the stringers after glass and epoxy.

    Re: X4 - 1100 Build

I've heard of 951 x4s that run high 60s to 70mph with normal limited mods. But, the 951 feels gutless in limited form compared to a properly set up 1100. I have a nice limited XPl and it runs great, but after riding Justin's ski, it felt stock. We'll see how my next ski compares to it when I get it done. The XPl suffers from fat girl syndrome, she HEAVY!

that's awesome, but a 951 seems way, way cheaper and easier!

    Re: X4 - 1100 Build

How is a 951 cheaper? 1 less carb, but the 1100 needs no pipe. And, to get a 951 to be even remotely close in terms of holeshot and bouy to bouy, you would need a heck of a lot more than a limited.

Come on now, it's hard for Seadoo guys to swallow when you put a Kawi in their house and beats them with it and cost less.
