I let my girl ride one of mine. That alone dropped 95lbs.

Comparatively, isn't the weight of the Kawi X2 part of the appeal? I'm mean, the weight ratio is what made it ride so nice!
I think most would agree. So making it light weight, would probably make it almost unrideable.

What are we going with this, like an aftermarket x2 gen 1 molded lightweight? or a gen2 that has already been made? Give me some direction. How much weight are you looking to shave. Not to mention the power plant that is the major contributor of the weight. 650 vs 1100. Are u looking to make new molds or ascertain if someone has aforementioned molds?

            Rod, you been drinking?

He wants an aftermarket, gen1, lightweight hull, ready to be built. (not sure about the shaving question)

Sh!t, if he wants mold, I'll sell him my fromunda mold, and since I got two nuts, that would be X2!

Not going to say anything except you might want to start saving your money. This pic was taken back in August.

Or buy Todds right? I'm actually building a Q8 fixed steer now, just like the classic gen 1 and ease of riding but hate the tight engine compartment.

Why invest in old technology when the gen 2 has already been invented, an sxr bottom half and improved steering on the top, equipped with a slim lined seat for your a$$, not to mention the improved engine compartment, larger water lines, larger exhaust exit, soooo Whazzi why don't we buy a gen 2, no drinkin here.
