Alrighty, posted another one, but didn't seem to take so sorry if a duplicate:

A group of nine, riding jet skis to Alaska left August 7 2014, leaving from Anacortes. Heading up to Sitka and Ketchikan via the inside passage. These are some notes of trip. Believe it took about 5 days...they went fishing, too, lol.

Also count me in for deception pass run and Victoria trip. Cap'n Charles will have a shorter ride, lol.

Will attach some pics, too.image.jpeg image.jpeg

Sounds fabulous. I'm on the road to Colorado for a month of snowmobiling. Picking up the Waverunner as soon as I get home then try to figure out how to ride it. Never been on one. Should be interesting. I'm so excited about it.

    Thanks for the great note.

    Happy New Year

The right side picture you posted of the guys riding. I see a gps mounted to the right just forward of the handle bar. I'm going to mount a 5" chartplotter and am curious how he mounted that. Any idea or do you know how to contact him?

Evanston WY tonight. 4 degrees. brrr

Yep, saw that too, also, in front of it looks like a go-pro type of camera unit or I could be off my rocker. I will contact him this week to ask if he knows.
I do know that he doesn't own the ski...they hired a guide who owns the rides for the trip. Will ask him about the guide info, too, maybe he is a good guy to help with some of the details of trip and the rides, etc....
Btw, that is pretty cold stuff in WY!!!!

Hey Flash. we are planning to look around the Puget Sounds on our new 2015 FX cruiser. How do I get more information on where to go? I am new at boating in the US so don't know about boating cards....we are from New Zealand but now live in CA.

    Re: 2016 Seattle to Alaska?

Hey Planetmoby, I was thinking that my next vacation might be to rent a motorcycle in New Zealand. And I'm from California.

The boater safety card can be gotten here >> http://www.boaterexam.com/usa/washington/

I'm brand new to boating as well, so I can't offer too much information, but almost anywhere you explore the Puget Sound will be really cool. The southern part is probably more urban while the north is is miles of wooded, except on the Seattle side.

    Planetmoby,
When are you planning on coming? I operate a sightseeing charter boat on the Olympic Peninsula (Sequim, WA) and know the area pretty well. There's some really great places to cruise. Lots of wildlife, lighthouses and more. PM me if you'd like to chat.
