    Re: Another 550/750 build

I put together my makeshift spray booth and I laid the white epoxy primer down on the hull and then applied spot puddy on small dings. I still have to primer the handlepole and I need to strip the hood before I can apply primer. I'm using Kleen Strip fiberglass stripper on it, hopefully it will work. The color I'm going with is PPG Dodge Viper snakeskin green. I filled the side and top of the 550sx tray area with body filler, that turned out pretty nice, the epoxy primer sealed the body filler real good.

    Re: Another 550/750 build

I took my aftermarket hood that had about 5 coats of green paint and clearcoat and stripped it all today. This Kleen Strip fiberglass paint remover worked awesome! I did a couple coats of the stripper and waited about an hour then power washed it, the rest was sanded off with a DA using 180 grit paper and some razor blades. I forgot to take the before pics of the hood with the green paint, oh well lol.

    Re: Another 550/750 build

I picked my 95ss up with a nice Karavan trailer for 500 bucks! The motor had always been serviced at a local Kawi dealer and low hours!! It would've been even better if it was a 94 small pin XI motor dual carb but I think those dual carbs would drain that little 550 fuel tank real quick.
