Got the final large lay up done on the bottom. Should be ready for bottom paint by the end of the week.

    Shawn, lol

Considering the bucket of water you lost , the hull will still be heavier. Has anyone tried A/M sponsons on these boats. My TS has a hull similar to the Jetmate. I put beach house style ( homemade ) on it and it turns like it's on rails.

Edit: It took 15 minutes or so to learn to turn like your on a Honda 3 wheel ATV, not lean, and keep the pump in the water.

Been out of town, will see tomorrow if I get it back from the paint shop. When I get back right side up I still have some repairs and sealing to do on the top side.

Here it is back from paint, looks good and is going to end up getting scratched.

New trailer bunks for new bottom. Contour seems to work good just laying 2x4's directly on trailer. Added angle iron to go from the bunks to the trailer.

Removed jack nuts from bimini top from rails and made plates with nut plates to replace. Plate inside is .080 2024t3 and will reinforce the area outer is .250 plate that came with the boat. Plates will be bonded/sealed on after top plate is painted.

Removed seized fuel shutoff valve and will replace with new valve. New valve will be ON, OFF, RES and will be usable without lifting rear seat.

Making new fuel tap, original is scrap, thanks "delegram" for coming up with this idea. This is a real slick and easy way to replace the fuel tank tap. Just got all the materials and will finish up tap next week.

Top surface gel coat woke up good with polishing so will not be painting top side. Still need to finish bilge edge sealing and painting. Getting some potted fasteners p/n NAS 1832-3-5 to replace the windshield jack nuts. When these are installed they will be a water proof without a screw installed in them.
