    Waxing A Black Ski

I have some very very light scratches on my SXR from trailer bunks when it slide down in between the bunks because they were spaced out too much, so I am looking to wax it out.

The ski is mint otherwise. Looks like it's fresh off the showroom floor. So I dont need anything drastic. Can someone recommend a good wax for this? You cant feel the scratches at all.

meguiars scratch X is pretty awesome, its more of a very very light buffing wax that really gets those "swirl" scratches out.

i recon not to slow , skis seem to stop quick if your going to slow over sand bars , 'makes you go over the handle bars' , the speed is what does the buffin , a couple of runs ought to do it ...

3m marine makes a great line from deep scratch removers to pure waxes. Look at them.

Yeah I've been looking at 3m stuff, the only problem is there are sooo many different products.

Very light scratches = A fine compound.

Follow this up with an equally course or finer polish, followed by wax. Apply and cut via wool or waffled foam pad not exceeding 3000rpms
