Launching in Laughlin - how far south on Colorado can I go?

Posting here since I would imagine Havasu riders would have some experience with this.

Planning a late June / early July trip to Laughlin with the Waverunners and I wanted to see if someone knew how far South in the Colorado I can go from Laughlin and if there are some convenient places down and back to stop for some chow and perhaps gas up?

Looking at Google Earth I don't see any reason we couldn't go all the way to Havasu, but perhaps I'm an idiot and I'm not seeing an obvious damn or areas where it's not passable.

Any advice for a fun day trip down and back on the Colorado from Laughlin?

    Thanks

You can go all the way to Parker Dam.

I have a house in bullhead . We go into havasu from there. You can get gas / food and drink at Avi casino , needles marina , topock , Pirates cove . All befor entering the gorge leading to havasu. Long ride but worth it

        Thanks for the info.

I've created a map of the fuel docks between Laughlin and Havasu - am I missing any?

Locations of on-the-water marina gas stations (red pins) and boat launches (orange pins) on the Colorado River and adjoining lakes - Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. Updates? Email: [email protected]

Looks like you have the gas docks covered along the river. Theres more on the lake but you wont have trouble getting gas there. Topock is a good stop for lunch . Just watch water levels. between Avi and Needles can get shallow. The water fluctuates on the river. You can go to Davis dams site for the release times on the days you will be there. I take my v drive wakeboard boat on the same trip , I'm drafting 26" while floating and probably more than 3' when taking off , so a ski wont be a problem.
