Sport Spec Blaster Headpipe Water Settings?

Where is everyone running their 3 water injection screws on their Factory Pipe Mod Pipe Headpipes? You see plenty on the forums about a freestyle setup, but what is the best setting for a Spec Blaster? Of course you want off the line pull buoy to buoy like a freestyle setup would provide, but how do those settings work running wide open for an extended period of time?

I think most people run the top and middle closed and the bottom somewhere between a 1/4 to 1/2 turn. That's supposed to give you the best top end. Of course its been a few years since I set one up.

Good deal. How about from the head to the Headpipe water line? I've seen some guys run the line to the bottom of the Headpipe and let the water flow up the Headpipe and out and then I've seen other guys run it to the top so the water flows down the Headpipe and out.

Re: Sport Spec Blaster Headpipe Water Settings?

Lol. Thanks man. Right now I have it setup with dual cooling with both lines running to the manifold. One line off the head runs to the bottom of the Headpipe and then the line off the top of the Headpipe runs to a T which goes to the stinger via a FCV and the other end of the T goes overboard. The other line off the head goes overboard, but has a 4mil restrictor in it. I know it's a pretty standard setup and I'm running it about 99% the same as everyone else, but how about the 4mil restricor on the line that runs off the head and overboard? In a perfect world I'd get out and measure the temps, but I'm assuming that restrictor on the line is to even out the back pressure on both fittings on the head so it's more even cooling of the cylinders and enough water goes to the Headpipe as well.
