    "mod" to delete thread?

I have a thread i started as a project journal a while ago. The first (and only) post is rather long and contains questions i no longer need answering. lines of text from a noob with no idea..its pretty messy. Can it be deleted by a moderator so i can start a new project journal without cluttering the forums and the search function. kinda stinks we cant edit our posts, ya know.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I can't post a new one as I'm not authorized yet -- can a moderator please authorize my ability to see some of the pictures others have posted on a repair I'm hoping to do this weekend? It looks like others have been there/done that and I'd like to learn from their experience. Thanks! David Soussan
