THANKS KP an update would be great would LOVE to see some updated pics. ONe more quick question. What is the floor plan for underneath the dash to the bow, the prior owner hacked the floor out and I'm having trouble forming it back together. Do you have any pictures of yours. Thanks again!!

I made made a cardboard pattern from a huge fridge box, the floor sits flush on the foam stringers in the hull. You want it to sit nice and flat, that's where you get your rigidity. The floor goes all the way to the top of the bow basically. You should be able to see where the 4" fiberglass tape bonded the old floor up to the nose unless the previous owner ground it down.

Fitting the tank back in is a struggle, it is a very tight fit.

Here is the seat back in. I beveled the edge, then riveted a 2.5" aluminum plate to the back to fasten the seat back to the hull. I then mixed up epoxy with white microbaloons and filled the crack. Make sure to fasten the bottom lip of the seat to the floor first as when you cut it out it relieves a bit of tension in the hull and it like to warp up. When you epoxy the seat back in it will be rigid.

Cut all new seat backings out of 1/2" marine plywood then coated them with mold and mildew resistant paint.

Test fitting the foam on the new backers before wrapping the new upholstery.
