Yes, had her out for a test run today. Made my old 750sx kawi feel like a tug boat. Sweet deal indeed. Very happy. Even though it was a 600 mile round trip to meet up with you, it was well worth it. Thanks.

Well folks here is a little up date on that " sweet deal " as of June 21 I have still not received the paper work to legally get a title for this ski, as Kentucky is a title state. The motor and drive line were so bad out of alignment that the mid shaft and drive shaft splines ripped themselves apart and cost me a small fortune. The paper work I have sent to the owner of which is not the madscientist, but he brokered this deal and now will not take care of it. After bugging the mad scientist about it repeatedly, he the. Told me it was done and in the mail. Awesome, 5 days later still no papers, I google search and find actual owner of ski, guess what, he still has the papers in hand. Not real happy about this at all.

I was told the papers were notarized on the day we talked. If there is a problem with the rhaas midshaft carrier it will be replaced by rhaas under warranty. Just because it is taking a bit of time for you reg it because of your state is above my end of the trade. You got a great ski with alot of money invested in it with a valid title and current registration. I still cannot find the correct pole bolts for the hand pole on the micro, since you want to throw out things that were omitted from the deal.

Problems aside papered were provide although it has taken over 50 days for your seller to sign a document and return it for me, that is my problem. Enough said already, the mid shaft was fine, the motor alignment was horrible which lead to premature failure of the drive line.

i will say this since i am doing the repairs. i found numerous issues while looking over the ski. engine alignment was the worse i've ever seen. surprised it lasted as long as it did. standing at the rear of the tray it was very obvious the front of the engine was kicked towards exhaust side what looked like inches. i never saw the ski until the shaft splines stripped or i would have never let him ride it that way. the tubbie bolts are way to long and have caused numerous holes in exhaust hoses causing water and exhaust to fill the bilge area and run poorly. the mid shaft had no grease zerk or bolt in the hole and was dumping grease into bottom the hull. while installing a foot strap i found one already under the turf that had been cut off and just turfed over. and put in with wood screws only. yay for wet foam now. it also appears it was never washed or rinsed after riding in salt water. big no no for maintaining a ski properly in salt. there where no nuts on the ebox mount only thing holding it in place was corrosion. the wear ring was severely swollen in multiple places as well and didnt do the impeller any favors. im sure im leaving so things out, but you get the idea. looked like it was slapped together in a rush with no care taken to make sure it was done properly.

As far as things omitted, really???? You can't call EME and get twe freaking pole bolts??? What about the extra hood and nose piece you conveniently forgot to bring on the day of the trade, give me a brake. All I wanted was for one of you two guys to sign the official title transferpaper, ( state law requirement )and send it back to me, that's all. Yes I have official papers from Alabama, can I get a title in kentucky with that NO , not until you or the other person signes the official papers for transfer that I sent to you on May 1st , almost wo months back.

The pump was never pulled from the hull nor was the carrier. The alignment was very close at the coupler. No biggie.. .
is what it is.. he still got a good deal.
