Re: STRICTLY: Chicago & Michigan Lake PWC Riders 2015

Any of you local guys have any experience with custom freestyle or freeride hulls (stand-ups)?
It would be nice to talk to some people that know a bit about the characteristics of these hulls that have experienced local riding on lake Michigan.
Can these newer composite hulls handle being hucked into the air or are they almost all flat-water hulls. It seems some of the popular hulls are the Ski Clinics Bob and Hurricain hulls, EME micros, the Backie Chan, Rickters... honestly there seems to be so many companies building hulls these days that it's tough to know where to start.
My favorite type of riding is a bit of everything, so I'll call that freeriding. I want to be able to go out on a stormy day with 5-10 foot swells on Lake Michigan and not worry about my hull cracking and sinking).
Anyways, just wondering if any local guys have much experience.
Seems like between finding the right hull and what they want for them (between $15000-$40,000 - boggles my mind), I can see why everyone says just go buy a SuperJet.
Anyways, hope to see some of you guys out at the lakes and rivers this year. My wife is taking my daughter to Washington DC for the entire summer (ballet training), so I should be out and about on weekends.

I ended up with two 650sx Kaws, so I'll be out this year!
I was out a couple weeks ago on the Des Plaines river testing one of them out and it went pretty good. Need to do some tuning. The other ski I picked up this past weekend, so I haven't had a chance to get that one on the water and see how it runs. Can't wait to get them out at Miller beach.
