I baught a handlepole bracket from them and over the phone they gave me one dimension, when i got it it was a half inch off that dimension. Too big. They refunded my whole purchase and shipping so that part worked

    Re: Rad Dudes Conversion Plate.

I had the exact same experience with the same bed-plate.... the 800 motor wouldn't bolt to the plate because it wasn't cut deep enough for the stator cover.... had to cut off about 1/2" in front, once that was done, I mounted it and found it to be 40mm away from driveshaft. so, I took it to a machine shop and had the mounting holes drilled back 40mm, and then another 40mm cut off the front again so the motor would mount.. I also had to oblong 1 mount hole that was off about 8-10mm...... Also no hard feelings, but an expensive plate to begin with and another $80 in machine work.. now that it's mounted, I will say it's the correct height which would have been hell to correct if it wasn't... This was an 800 in a trinity hull set-up for yamaha power (they said it would work...)

    Chevy,
Do you realize that when you make major changes to some one elses copywritten items, that you can apply for your own copywrite ? Thats why sheet needs to be right when your selling it. You could lose your pattened to a improved design.

    Re: Rad Dudes Conversion Plate.

Man I wish I saw this before I bought my "rad" dudes conversion plate I'm also currently in the same boat I bought mine a little over a month ago when I finally got time to go up to my motor builders home to start fitting my 1100 in my x2 the bed plate didn't fit the bolt holes I sent them an email about how the return process works and and if im really going to be charged the 15% restock fee since it wasnt my fault im sending back the item all I got for a response was "clearly we can not refund u with out our merchandise back" and since then I've sent them 2 emails since the tracking said it landed at there address and guess what no response back since the last one before I shipped part back to the rad dudes so at this point I don't know what to do other than try a few more emails and if no response back then I'll be forced to see what I can do threw pp since I payed threw that but not sure if anything can be done now

Instead of making a remark and restarting a PWCT war I will just post this.
