Where can I set up a Buoy course in riverside/ socal area

Hi need some help.. I want to train to race sport spec I bought some buoys and now I don't know where I can set these things up and go ride.. I live in Temecula if I can find a place within a hour that would be awesome.. any help would be greatly appreciated, also I'm looking for a riding group let me know, thanks in advance

I called lake elsinore to ask but I don't think the girl who answered knew what I was talking about she kept mentioning no wake buoys and I hung up out of frustration

There is a group that sets up buoys in Mission Bay...the thread here is called San Diego Practice I think.
