2011 GTI SE 130 no beep, no LCD, good battery...

Well, sold all my older model skis to try and avoid having my head stuck in the hull of these damn skis all the time and I guess it is just not in the cards for me to go a full season without any problems. We almost made it to winterization before I had a major problem.

    Full Story:
Took the skis to Arkansas for a week of fun in the sun. Both ran great although we had a ground get a little loose on the GTS and that caused for a little confusion. Otherwise they ran great. At the end of the trip, a buddy of mine who had done some electrical work for me took the skis for a day at the lake with his family. He drove/trailered the skis about 2 hours, backed them into the water, and the GTI wouldn't do anything. He states that he did not do anything to the ski and just pulled them back to my house.

I get the ski back to the house and checked to make sure the battery at least had a charge.
    - Battery = 12.7v.
    - Pushed the start button and nothing. No beep, no LCD, no clicking...
    - Put the key on and nothing. No beep, no LCD, no clicking...
    - Disconnected and reconnected the battery and nothing.
    - Checked all fuses and they are all good.
    - Checked all the grounds I could find and they all seemed tight
    - I am able to jumper the starter solenoid and can get the engine to turn over no problem.

I am really at a loss. I called my buddy and asked again if he did anything else while they were at the lake and he assured me that they didn't even take the skis off the trailer and that he didn't try and jump the ski or even troubleshoot the problem.

    My thoughts:
    - He jumped the battery and isn't willing to admit it and the ECU is blown. (highly unlikely as he is a genuinely honest friend)
    - Something came loose during the transfer and I cant figure out what to check
    - Freak ECU failure
    - Bad DESS post or start button?

Any recommendations? Hate having a nice newer model ski and can't get it to do anything. I don't mind taking it to the local shop but they have a 2-3 week lead time and I would like to work on it until then.

    Thanks in advance,
    - Will

Hmmm, where might those be? I am gonna be relieved if it is that easy. I checked all the fuses in the main fuse box.

Well, if anyone can tell me were some other fuses are on this model ski I am all ears. I cannot find any other fuse holders after looking at the ski for a while and I also can't find any other fuse holders in the service manual or the online parts diagram.

check the wiring diagram and check the main relay (small black square in fuse box), some systems also has a seperate diode to protect the system which can cause the system to appear "dead" the 08-2010 had a seperate diode plugged in next to the fuse box which just looks like a dead end cap but i cant remember from the top of my head whether the 2011 still uses it or not.
Is yours the first of the ibr gti models or last of the non ibr model? IBR= brakes I will check the diagrams at work tomorrow

you might have found it by now but maybe not. Under the front hood and tray across from the battery where the Mpem? is( that longer rectangle box with alllll the little fuses in it), there is another (box) that's bolted to the holding assembly, that holds 2 30 amp fuses, 2 bus bars and that 4 prong Relay that we're talking about. Smaller box, black plastic 4 prong.
Probably part # 278002822 should solve the problem
