Re: Build thread! 750 jetmate wakeskate machine

Thanks for the picture! I hear what you are saying about the gunwales! I will be looking for a solution.

WFO. ordered the carbs from matt jones. may need some jetting help with them when I get them, also do you know where is a good place to get rebuild kits?

Now just waiting for the blockoff plates. and the carbs I hope they get here soon i have a houseboat trip this weekend I really wanted to bring the jetmate.

anyone know how bad it is to run this motor with the throttle arm leaking? I know it ran before removal and if its a bushing then its been this way for a while.

Ooohh pretty! Too bad no one will see it! Anyway motor is back in and hooked up going to water test it tomorow. At the risk of sounding like a broken record does anyone have any input on my carb situation?

I wouldnt run a leaky carb. That could cause a lean condition and toast a motor. Buy a rack of carbs. I would rather buy a rack of carbs then rebuild a motor

Re: Build thread! 750 jetmate wakeskate machine

Thanks for the reply I was thinking the same thing however i was also thinking the throttle shaft was high enough in the intake that it shouldnt mess with the intake charge/fuel mixture. I will replace both carbs. I have two on order from matt jones but it will be a while before i can install them I have a houseboat trip this weekend. just wondering if anyone has ran like this or am I off on the assumption that it wont affect the fuel mixture

Re: Build thread! 750 jetmate wakeskate machine

    Update.

Got the carbs. Rebuilt them. Installed them
Jetmate starts pretty easy and idles high. Anyone know the stock settings for the small pin 750?

On another note after leaving it for a few days the bottom end flooded so I think fuel is leaking past the carbs. Anyone know what would cause this? Just hoping it has nothing to do with the rebuild I did. Any Imput helps thanks guys

Re: Build thread! 750 jetmate wakeskate machine

I will take some pics tomorow. My plan was to run two battery's. One in the engine compatriot for the motor where the old oil tank was and another in the original battery location. This may change when I fit up the factory pipe
