We have a LOT of water here, as you might imagine. I ride the rivers and the salt water. The salt provides me a constant corrosion battle, but I feel it is worth it. The sea islands are constantly changing form and shape. When the salt water is flat with a lot of smooth evenly spaced 3 foot rollers in the inlet is when it is most fun for me personally. I dont like breakers or fast and dangerous waters (because I generally ride alone). The rivers are fun to ride because of the scenery and they are flat. We do have a few alligator infestations. Lee,
I'm not looking for a dangerous ride, but I would like to do some salt water riding. I've been to the Charleston area several times, but have never taken a PWC. If you wouldn't mind showing an area newbie around sometime, let me know. I do understand if you prefer riding solo.

Don't mind at all. I enjoy riding period. Solo or with company. Its actually best to ride the salt with another skier because if you fall off you cannot always make it back to the ski. I use a long bungie when by myself.
