    high elevation (4k) jetting

howdy!! I stumbled across a set of Blackjack 44 carbs for my 750 sx small pin motor. only other mod is a Factory Pipe. im at 4000 ft elevation (Reno, NV) and im wondering what jets/ springs/ needle/seats I should use. I tore both carbs apart, and found there are 115 high jets, 100 lows, 115gram (gold) springs, and 2.3 needle/seats..... this thing runs SUPER rich. so I was hoping I could get a base-line jet/spring/seat combo that I can start with for high elevation. ty in advance for any response =)

I think you should just drop the mains to 112.5 or 110, especially if it runs good other than being rich.

blackjacks like reverse, if you have the jets try this:

2.3 n/s 115g spring, should give near perfect popoff for those carbs with aftermarket flame arrestors
    115 pilot 1.5 turns out
    110 to 112.5 main 1.5 turns out.

dont WOT it off the bat, check your plugs.
