    Motoring the Edisto river

Well a couple of weekends ago I put my ski in one of the local rivers. This river is 200 miles long and has no dams. It is basically rain water returning to the sea. Its a beautiful place with very few people and typically lots of critters. Its close to Charleston SC

Very nice. SC does have a lot of nice places to ski. I take mine out on the various rivers and often I don't see any people for hours.

Doug at the moment its 200 miles of backwoods ecological wonderland. Its one of the most endangered rivers in America. ENORMOUS corporate farmers are wanting to take the water for their corporate gains and livestock farmers are using it as a dump for toxins, dead animals, and animal wastes. Check it out...
