There are wake boarding helmets that are made for ear protection also. I'm going to stick to my BMX helmet whenever I'm off of flat water.

Even with my silly lake riding antics I have noticed pain in my ears from slapping my head into the water.

I have considered earplugs but, like 11 stated, the risk of the earplug being driven deep into my ear canal stopped me from trying them out.

Maybe I could mod ear muffs to protect my eardrums

they just hold more water in... I tried it when I had ear troubles, and it made it worse

Doesnt do much for your teeth or jaw but works wonders for the ears.
