    6th annual Austin area Jet Ski Extravaganza Aug 2 2014

    Standup skiers unite! It's a Saturday this year. Joe from Austin Jet Skier, a local ski shop, is organizing the event. Last year we had about 70 skis and over 100 people. The location is currently set for Lake Travis with the exact location TBD. As always, expect a raffle to benefit the Austin animal shelter, a buoy course, plenty of local and a few not-so-local friends, a big variety of skis, and plenty of braap.

      Is it going to be at Pace Bend?
      1986 X2 750 (SXR Carbs, 650FP, #Zero flywheel, O-ring'd D head, SXR 13/18 impeller, Wet Wolf AAT, RCJS, UMI, RHAAS, chop, fill, etc.)

        Yes it's planned to be at Pace Bend park. Mud Cove is on the east side of the park.

              Yes it's mostly for stand ups. Couches are usually only used for towing. The closest thing otherwise would be X2 or WB. While couches aren't so much frowned upon at the event, riding one would certainly make you feel out of place.

                Thought so. Hey bro keep your eyes s nd ears open if you dont mind. Im in the market for a freestyle standup. Dont want a project ski. Im a 1%er when it comes to that. But definitely shopping.

                  Xp's are more than welcome out there ,. just dont tell anybody it has 350HP unless you are prepared to be laughed at lol ... it is a nice ski though and i bet it rips !

                      I haven't seen an official one in the past, but I have noticed some people buying/selling/trading in prior events. Bring a for sale sign!

                        trying to get some skis running to get out there but all my skis are being azzholes right now ,. either way ill be out there even if im just sitting on the beach the entire time

                          I will try to bring both of my standups. My wife might be coming but it's her 1st time on a standup so you can probably work in some time on mine.
