Thanks for the info. I used it for cosmetic use over the cabosil, and carbon fiber. There is a lot fiberglass reinforcement on the inside of the rocker.

duraglass is great stuff. its waterproof, kevlar reinforced. fairly easy to sand, and adheres to smc. no need to grind it out for cabosil. cabosil is very hard to sand. if you are glassing over the body work then the duraglass should be fine. ive always used it as a finishing type filler then sealed it up with paint. ive glassed over it without issues. you should be fine to glass over the duraglass.

bondo brand definitely wouldnt use on smc or in marine applications.

    ^^^Thank you

This is my first time working with carbon fiber so I used it in a spot that will be painted over.

    Filled in the dash

Smoothed out the bond line with cabosil

    Filled in the tray hump/dip

Blended the inside of the rocker to hull with cabosil and 407

Base for right side sponson done
Pattern made for left side sponson. Left side base also done.
Both sides of hull cf reinforced
    UFO's glassed in
    Bilge sprayed
I got a little thin in some spots on the rocker so I added one layer of cf. It overlaps where the rocker meets the hull. Far from perfect but for my first time and for being on the bottom of the ski its's perfect enough

Ayyy if you're gonna print photos of my ski, they had best be full-color prints, you SOB!!!

Awesome job so far! I wish you were around to help me fix the hole in my ski. Willing to make more sponsons?

Haha. Sorry my work only lets us print in black and white. I love your build. Trying to stay focused on this project, get it painted and droppped off at Jettrim.
