This X2 will be for sale after the race is over and a portion of the proceeds will be going to New Horizons of Lake Havasu! If you are interested you can private message me or Jeff. A final list of the build will be posted once we have the final results of the rules!

    Thanks!

Robert. We would all like to see the final regulations for both vintage classes- The 2 and Ski. Any influence you can have with Scott is appreciated.

So who's doing what on your team ? Who is building and who is riding?
1993 Laser Jet F15 - Mild port to PJS Cylinder.
1992 550 SX - R&R port Kawi Reed, Kind of fast.
    1989 JS 550 - PJS motor Dual 46's, 50 MPH on GPS.
    1989 Wet Jet - Upgraded 1994 50 HP motor & exhaust.
1986 JS 550 - Engine built. Working on fiberglass!
    1976 JS 400 - Pretty much just a shell.

Ok so here's the problem! If you aloud to modify the hull then the bullet X2 hull is going to be able to race. Also you will be able to put the SXR bottoms on the X2 and in my opinion that just makes the class crazy! Just my opinion. I think that the stock X2 hull should be only used and sponsons added. As to a team there really isn't one. I'm helping position this year and in another class a young racer from Australia.

    Thanks!

Re: Robert Sand and Jeff "Poison" Prieur team up for World Finals!!

^You should be allowed to modify the hull. This isn't 1983. Its been open for 3 years now and no one has put an SXR bottom on a vintage X2 to race with. The bond lines aren't even close and would be such a chore it wouldn't be worth it. The problem with NOT going to open is that you will be the only one on the line because almost everyone has been using front fills for 3 years, as the rules for 3 years has been OPEN. Now, with the rule change you have now disqualified nearly every Vintage X2 racer that has been on the line for 3 seasons.

Mod motor/Superstock hull is a class killer.
You will go back to 3-4 skis on the line instead of 10-15. No one is going to go back to stock hull after utilizing a front fill. This is not a good move for the class.

First off Jonny I don't make the rules. Scott said that the rules have always been there it's just now they will be enforced. I recommend that you and the others email Scott at the IJSBA to see what's going on. I'm in the same boat as I want larger motors but have to abide by the 800cc rule as well. I spoke with Charlie Simms the other day and he was going to start a post for this issue. This post is for Jeff and my X2 project that we are doing. Start the post and let me know and we will see what we can do. IMO I want to see as many X2's on the line!! Back to the post at hand. Thanks!!
