    The 650sx Brotherhood

With all the 650sx haters out there (I used to be one!) I think those of us that love our 650sx's should give each other some support.

If you love and appreciate this humble middle sister of the "Classically Cool" 550 and the "Prom Queen" SXR, stand and be counted.

Tell us what you like, and what you have made better.
    Show some pics.
ADMIT IN PUBLIC that you like your 650sx and that it is FUN TO RIDE.

Mine is a '90 that I got on the cheap for backup ski / friends to ride as part of a package with a 750 sxi pro, and I actually enjoyed riding it.

Currently have the motor out to block the drain and delete the oil pump, cleaned out the bilge, repaired some bottom of the hull damage, and have footholds in progress. Going to put on a finger throttle and turf, and maybe a graphics kit.
    Pics to follow.

It is ported, milled and decked head at 185psi (pump gas) Jetnetics charging flywheel, 44SBN Full coffman pipe duel cooling, flow control valve, auto bildge, glassed in front area, -4 chopped pole, quick steer, solas prop, loader grate, ocean pro ride plate, kicker footholds with 25m underpad, glassed in hood scoops with hood strap.

This ski is a blast to ride, it seams like every winter I do something new with it. Even with my 850 freestyle ski the 650 is just fun to ride.

Very nice. I like what you did with the chinpad. I am trying to decide whether to retain my tray side panels with cutouts for the holds, or turf the sides. Yours looks great.

@Timothy - yes indeed on fuel economy. My '90 still has the stock smaller carb with remote fuel pump, I was amazed at how little gas it used compared to my Yami 701.

I love mine!! I'm hoping to start a new build soon, but I'm definitely keeping the 650SX for my fiance to ride.
